The team of dating site Abricot asked us to create a new identity for their website.
I chose to highlight their slogan “ Love without swiping nor chatting,” which expresses their desire to offer a different experience from other dating websites. I wanted to design a romantic but contemporary universe, by using the typeface AVARA , which is reminiscent of a classic aesthetic thanks to the serif, but which is also modern thanks to its geometrical letters.
PROPOSITION DE LOGO
I used the actual logo which represents the union between two apricots, to propose an abstract adaptation of it.
In these propositions, text and form come together. The form reminds us (in a less figurative way) of the abricot, and the contrast expresses the idea of difference, a notion that is also highlighted by Abricot.co.
